So let us pray for a moment.

Attended Christ, when the disciples stood gazing into the clouds full of questions and uncertainty, you did not abandon them. Be close to us in the moments when life feels unclear, when faith feels fragile, and when heaven seems silent. Lord, in your mercy, hear our loving God, we pray for all who are living through cloudy seasons, for those currently carrying grief, for those maybe who are facing illness, and for those struggling with anxiety and loneliness or fear about the future. Remind them that hidden is not the same as absence, and that even in silence your love still surrounds them. Lord, in your mercy, dear after. Attended Lord, you call your church not simply to stand looking upwards, but to live as your presence in the world. Bless all to serve others, those working in schools, care homes, hospitals, shops, churches and communities. May we be people who carry kindness, hope, and compassion into everyday life. Lord, in your mercy, fear our prayer. Lord, we pray for places in our world where there is conflict or division or despair. May your kingdom come on earth as in heaven. Lord, in your mercy, hear our earth. Lord, we pray for those we love and who are no longer seen by us, but who remain held in your eternal love. In a moment of quiet, we remember before God those who in our hearts today. May the hope of the ascension remind us that Christ has come before us, opening the way to eternal life. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer. And finally, Lord, when we feel lost, teach us to trust. When we feel alone, remind us of your presence. When we cannot see clearly, help us to walk by faith.
